If you are a middle school or jr. high choral director, be sure to look at this! It’s an original song for SA(CV)B choir that captures all the beauty and excitement of the African continent. With easy-to-learn harmonies and a fabulous African percussion accompaniment, you won’t want to miss using this with your students.  Based on an ancient African prayer the origin of this poem for this choral piece is unknown. It is likely from Central or Southeast Africa. This Bantu / Swahili dialect comes with translation and is easy to learn to pronounce.   Full score and parts are also available with instrumental performance suggestions from SMP Press.  Video:
