    I was introduced to Amsden's Practice Duets by a fellow music ed major in college over 40 years ago. We would play the duets on trombone and tuba. (It was a hoot.)Arthur Amsden was a wonderful musician who could weave his sense of humor into challenging and beneficial...

    exercises. I recently purchased this book for use with my private students. They get a kick out of playing these duets with me while they are beefing up their reading skills. I highly recommend this book to teachers and students alike.
