The melody of Amazing Grace starts in the bass cleft and is accompanied with soft broken chords in the right hand; later the piece triumphantly modulates from G major to D major. This hymn arrangement is full 4 pages (approx. 2:18 minutes in length). Amazing Grace is a timeless hymn, and this arrangement is perfect for church performances throughout the year. Abigail Johnson is a piano teacher in Pennsylvania, and she enjoys arranging old-fashioned hymns in her own unique style to give them a fresh new sound.

This is fairly sightread-able. It has a nice balance of soft and simple, to full towards the end. There's one transition I don't care for, but overall the piece works great as Prelude, Offertory or other special time. Well written.
