  • June 06, 2019 Here is to Clear up any confusion

This is ADVENTURES on Earth. The 15 min version is ADVENTURE on Earth. Plural and singular. It's all very confusing. But to clarify this plural ADVENTURES on Earth is the 10 min-ish one. ADVENTURES singular is currently unavailable to my knowledge.

I got this score under the impression that it had the last 15 minutes (from the beginning of the chase, to the end of the film) of music. I was only half right. While it does start of with the famous high pitched ostinato, it does cover the bike chase...

faithfully as written, but does not cover the bike-flying scenes, instead cutting straight to the goodbye scene. Discovering this made me feel a bit ripped off. I suppose this is why they've published the 'flying theme' sperately. It's also curious to see that this is a "2nd edition". I would be curous to see what changes have been made (if any). Otherwise, it's an enjoyable read, and listen. It's just very annoying that the music builds to that flying climax, but then goes off and skips ahead, creating a very anti-climatictic feel.

  • December 19, 2007 A wonderfull score for orchestrations ideas

As a John Williams fan and symphonic music composer myself I had a great pleasure to analyse this score from movie ET. With Cakewalk Sonar software I have made it in midi file to perform my knowledges in orchestrating technics. I'm impatient to discover all future works about John...

    Wiliams's scores.
