This arrangement is unique in its design. It was made for the Bras Octet with the mellow tone of the euphonium and flugelhorn added to the classic sound of the quintet of brass, with Flugelhorn, two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. The organ obbligato was added to provide a solid harmonic part and a liturgical ambience to the Adagio of Albignoni. The arrangement was based on the original arrangement of Giazzotto, but combining the beautiful timbres, sonorities and possibilities of the metal instruments. The limits of the tessituras were respected but widely exploited.
There are spaces for the soloists to rest between their solos. Your group will love to play this song.
