Cello Concerto in D minor, RV 406 by Antonio Vivaldi
Related work: Bassoon concerto in D minor, RV 481 (1st movement)

I. Allegro non molto
II. Andante
III. Minuet

A beautiful work with an emphatic opening and equally emphatic first solo entry in Allegro, followed by an Andante in which the cello emerges in G minor, with triplet figuration and a final Minuet to that is broadly tripartite in structure, preserving something of the form of the title.

Arranged for Cello Solo and Strings (Quartet, Orchestra or Ensemble) with optional Double Bass parts
