I have a Masters in performance. I've been looking for a collection like this for a long time -- great for those of us who find Late Intermediate stuff boring and sightreadable. Fun to play, challenging without being overwhelming. There's a good variety of styles and difficulty: the easy...

stuff is readable or only requires attention to a few measures; the harder stuff actually takes some effort without becoming frustrating. The arranger clearly knows how to write idiomatically for piano. My only real reservation is that it could use a good editor. More than a few chords and voice leadings are misspelled, making reading unnecessarily difficult (i.e. a functional B7 chord spelled B-Eb-F#-A; a rising F-minor scale whose last 4 notes are spelled C-Ebb-Fb-F).With that caveat (have a pencil handy for those re-spellings!), I'd definitely recommend this volume for advanced pianists looking for some fun Christmas music that shows off their skills.
