Here is one of the best-loved pieces from the Big Band era, in a carefully crafted version for Wind Trio (flute, clarinet, and bassoon, with the bassoon part also given for bass clarinet). The traditional solos are included. This transcription has already been played by high school age players, and yet is interesting and challenging for the real "pros" as well.
