While some goodbyes are temporary, and others more permanent, this lovely flowing lyrical work for band helps capture the range of those feelings of farewell in music. Haunting and somber melodies give way to an uplifting chorale, and a poignant and slightly unsettled conclusion remind us of how our farewells reach so deeply into the soul.
