DeJing Wen, Pascal Gallet and ZhiNuo Tang take listeners on a "Road to Europe" throughout this recording, focusing on Chinese chamber music. The explorations begin in 1941 with SiCong Ma's "Tibet Tone Poem" and move through until the listener is in modern day with Lei Jiang's "Desert Capriccio", written in 2015. All of the music heard on this album was based off traditional Chinese folklore.
