Soprano Emalie Savoy is the 2015 winner of the ARD International Music Competition. This is her debut album. Savoy has been praised for the "gleaming richness" of her voice by the New York Times. Her warmness will carry listeners away as she sings Ravel's Sheherazade and Dvorak's Song to the Moon from Rusalka. Ms. Savoy is a native of Albany New York. She completed the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, and holds both a Bachelor and Master of Music degree from The Julliard School.
