My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes "pianistic" sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece. This arrangement was made for a beginner student who completed Level 1A of Alfred's Premier Course. Counting is incredibly important for this song. The melodic note values have been simplified as much as possible without rendering it unrecognizable. Pedal and fingering suggestions are included.
