books, and while some of his arrangements can be a bit above my skill level, I found this book to be very accessible with just a little practice.

As a piano teacher and a church pianist, I'm always on the look out for new material. Often in a Craig Curry book, I'll "fall in love" with one piece especially. In this book, it was "Sing We Now of Christmas." So...much...fun! I played it last...

season with a bass player and a drummer (love that those parts are included on the CD inside) and it was a hit! I look forward to exploring more of this book soon in the coming Christmas season!

Some selections have good creative ideas but they are not developed fully. Many measures repeat and repeat, loosing the momentum in the music. Simple chords are used through-out, with a heavy use of the Right Hand. Most selections are religious melodies but not of quality to be used in...

Craig Curry has done an excellent job with the arrangements in this book. If you liked his Gospel Improv book, you'll love this one! From a blues arrangement of Silent Night to Gospel Swing arrangement of The First Noel, there are many styles of jazz included. Enjoy!
