I've played and sung this song for YEARS and taught it to MANY students. They absolutely LOVE it. Your students will love it, too. And I am guessing that you have sung this to someone, somewhere, sometime. It's just a "feel good", put a smile on your face song.
After a peppy introduction with a little bit of finger snapping, the left hand gets to "walk". Right hand has the melody throughout and on the second time around, the melody sounds as if you are "improvising!"
This is a great piece to introduce your students to some light jazz. It's just fun to play. Trust me!
