Taking the origins of the tarantella literally (a dance to cure a tarantula bite), there are three scenes: A Bite, wherein the fearsome creature attacks; A Tarantella, wherein the victim attempts the kinesiological cure; and An End, wherein...well, whose end is reached? And what kind of end? It's up to the pianists and the audience to decide.
