    Nice solos. However I was disappointed in the small number of easy pieces to use with advanced beginners - those who have studied about a year but have not progressed to positions and higher level playing. The description led me to believe there would be more pieces. Or, it could have...

    I played most of the pieces in this book while taking violin lessons over 50 years ago. This is an excellent collection of the most beautiful pieces, and playing them again, although now with less brilliance, certainly brings fond memories. I did not pursue a musical career and only continue...

    This is a wonderful book providing a variety of great violin pieces, ranging from relatively straight forward to play, to ones requiring quite a bit of practice. A great selection of peces to chose from for the family concerts.

    This book had really neat music. It was great to play all of them. My favorite is Barcarolle. It sounds nice with the piano accomp.
