Published by Drake Mabry (A0.799457).3.27.90 (Solo for vibraphone), was written for the French percussionist, Jean-Charles François and premiered by him at the Maison des Cultures du Monde in Paris, France on May 29, 1990. Each of the three movements evokes a different musical ambiance. Slow and meditative for movements 1 & 3 and lively and energetic for the 2nd movement. The player will need four vibraphone mallets. The duration is about 15 minutes.
