Ok, right off the bat I will say I am biased in the fact that I really like Froberger. I think hes a somewhat hidden gem in the history of music, though I see his work gaining traction among scholars and performers alike. That all said, about the book, Vol. I. It lays the groundwork for the other 10 volumes, a boon for Barenreiter and their reputation. They do a stellar job here, as usual, with a great publication from its introductory material and printing of the music. Binding is great, the printing impeccable and the music is my personal favorite among German, Baroque composers. All in all worth the hefty price.
