Julius Klengel (24 September 1859 – 27 October 1933) was a German cellist who had a long career as principal cellist of the Gewandhaus Orchestra.

As well as being a famous soloist Klengel was also revered as a great teacher. His concertos, etudes and smaller pieces are still used by students today.
