Premiered on the 30th of July 2016 at 4ª Academia de Flauta de Verão in Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo, Portugal. Conducted by Katharine Rawdon.
Programme notes: This work was composed over a Portuguese traditional melody - Dom solidom. 2nd Prize (Category B) of the 3rd Composition Competition for Flutes of the 4ª Academia de Flauta de Verão.Written between 2015 and 2016 as part of the composition portfolio of my second year (2º) of undergraduate at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa.
Notas de programa: A escrita desta obra foi baseada na melodia tradicional portuguesa - Dom Solidom. 2º Prémio (Categoria B) da 3ª Competição de Composição para Flautas da 4ª Academia de Flauta de Verão.Escrita entre 2015 e 2016 como parte do meu portefólio de composição do meu segundo (2º) ano de Licenciatura em Música - Composição na Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa.
