Mary, Did You Know? by Kathy Mattea SSA - Digital Sheet Music
By Kathy MatteaMary, Did You Know has got to be one of the most emotionally moving Christmas songs ever. This arrangement is for SSA, but could be used as SAT providing the tenor can hit a G! This is very similar to the famous Pentatonix version, only adjusted for 3 vocal parts. It is written in the key of B minor. Here are the ranges:Soprano: B2-D4; Second Soprano: B2-B3; and Alto F#2-G3. (Middle C begins octave 3). Each part get a turn with the melody. The piano accompaniment begins simply and builds into low octaves in the bass and nice full chords in the R.H. The accompaniment supports the vocals in the places where parts are inter-twining. This moving song is great for Christmas services and concerts. And so much fun to learn! Written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder. ©1991 Word Music, LLC and Rufus Music (administered at CapitolCMGPublishing.com) All Rights Reserved Used by Permission Used by Permission of Hal Leonard Corporation
