Dance of the Hours
With apologies to Sr. Ponchielli, I present this piece from the opera "La Gioconda".  Originally presented as a ballet to end the third act. this piece has been used in many settings from Disney (Fantasia) to Allan Sherman (Hello Mudda, Hello Fadda).
I present it here for Woodwind Quintet with a few omissions and a new ending to bring us back to a new day.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
