Dave Prudon Violinist, composer & arranger, Dave Prudon has spent his entire life making Music. After spending 35 years as the Assistant Concertmaster of the Grand Rapids Symphony, Dave moved to Raleigh, NC to start what he calls his ‘Semi-Retirement’ years. He subs in the North Carolina Symphony, is a regular member of the North Carolina Opera orchestra, plays 1st violin in the Triangle String Quartet, and teaches private violin lessons in his home. Dave’s ensemble arrangements reflect his philosophy that the melody does not always have to played by the 1st violin and that each of the parts should be enjoyable to play. He believes that if the music is satisfying for the musicians, the audience will ultimately benefit.
