About Mike

A tuba player for nearly 50 years, a classroom teacher up to A level for 25 years, Mike retired three years ago and now devotes his limited spare time to composition. His works include mainly British brass band works, but also ensemble, woodwind, piano and choral and even an orchestral work or two. Although retired from teaching, he still plays in two brass bands and has begun a new career singing tenor in a local choir. He is the chief trainer for Barnton Silver Band. Contact Mike
