 | Kenneth Abeling served as Staff Arranger for five US Army Bands throughout his 34-year Military career. He retired in 2017 as the First Sergeant and Enlisted Bandleader of the 85th Army Band in Arlington Heights, IL. Ken holds a Baccalaureate Degree in Music Education from Fredonia State University where he also focused heavily on orchestration and jazz arranging. Additionally, he holds a degree in Recording Engineering and worked at SONY Classical Productions in NYC in the early 1990’s as a Digital Editor and Mastering Engineer. He founded Lincoln Music Publications in 2006 and currently lives in the western suburbs of Chicago and continues to write, and perform in his Church's Saxophone Quartet. |
