  • Amy Hopson, General Manager

    Amy began working at Sheet Music Plus in 1999 and has held many roles, using her background in psychology and research to build strong collaborative teams. She has launched many new products and features for Sheet Music Plus and today loves to drive great experiences using design thinking, UX practice and agile techniques. Amy embedded with Pivotal Labs for our SongMonkey initiative and has attended the Balanced Teams Summit.

    Amy managed our website replatform to ATG (Oracle). She spearheaded cross-functional teams on extensive documentation and implementation of a new front-end system and back-end integrations. The project came in on-time and on-budget.

    Amy has a BA, MA and MEd from Columbia University.

  • Ben Speelman, VP of Marketing and Merchandising

    As a trained musician with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from UC Santa Cruz, Ben put his music degree to work in his first role post-grad with Sheet Music Plus. Ben has held various marketing and merchandising roles with SMP, including managing email marketing program before leaving Sheet Music Plus to pursue an International MBA at Rotterdam School of Management. After finishing his MBA in the Netherlands, Ben took the role of Head of Marketing - Europe for Hal Leonard MGB, where he led the launch of multi-currency/multi-language e-commerce site and supporting marketing strategy.

    As VP of Marketing and Merchandizing, Ben leads the marketing team’s efforts to serve demanding musician/educator customers with timely seasonal promotions, engaging content, and the world’s largest selection of print music.

  • Sean P. Doherty, Operations Manager

    Sean P. Doherty joins Sheet Music Plus with over 10 years of operations management experience. Sean began his operations career managing daily flight operations for a commercial airline in Denver, Colorado. Leaving commercial aviation for e-commerce, Sean has managed customer service and distribution operations for such companies as Vineyard Vines, UncommonGoods, HelloFresh, and Clutter. Sean specializes in scaling operations and distribution process. He has designed and managed the construction of 4 distribution facilities in New York City and San Francisco’s Bay Area.  

    Sean monitors and analyzes Sheet Music Plus fulfillment operations and customer service
