Published by Andrew Herrick (S0.655847).Known more simply as "Joy", this piece is derived from Bach's Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, BWV 147. It has seen many arrangements in the past due to its absolute beauty and enticing simplicity. However, this arrangement brings a new sonority to the piece in the form of a low brass quartet consisting of two euphoniums and two tubas. Ideally-- Since it has been abridged-- this arrangement is designed to be a short piece played as an introduction or simply an encore at a short concert.
