Sun and Moon is the third of the songs from Four Songs of Lucretius. All are from his epic poem "The Nature of Things" or Rerum Natura. In it he expresses the view of the Greek philosopher Epicurus.
In this song he says that thereare many worlds - this is not the only one, and nature is notcontrolled by any gods. Nature is free, and is able to do everythingherself.
