They love me and their parents loved them. In this song, a mother who is in the hospital sees her deceased parents in her hospital room. They are there to escort her home. Mom and dad have always been there for me. I wrote this song when a teenage friend named Dustin died. Years later Dustin's mother was in the hospital. She could see three people standing in the back of her hospital room. She asked her mother, who was present, if she could see anyone standing in the back of her room. Her mother looked to where her daughter pointed, but she couldn't see anyone. She told her mother that she thought the three people that only she could see had come to take her home. She passed away later that day. Its nice to know that we have family and friends both here and on the other side of life.
