I love that in Flamenco tradition, older musicians are respected because their life experience will help them to understand the soul behind the music... so true!
This piece is appropriate to be played at a concert, at a hospital or nursing home, or in a therapy setting. It has been written to have a good payoff for the effort you put in, being easy to master but sounding beautiful as a performance piece.
Level: Advanced Beginner harp piece
Skills needed: advanced beginners who have learned to play with fingers 1, 2 and 3, to use overlapping brackets and to play with hands together. It is more challenging than my piece "New Sundress".
Type of harp: lever harps, including lap harps.
Key: Aminor (G sharp levers). No pedal or lever changes are included.
