It's Christmas time now, and the lights are a glow.
We sit and we ponder of times long ago.
Dear Joseph and Mary, the babe who didst lay
All wrapped in those swaddling clothes on the nice, soft hay.
Could shepherds or wise men, or worldly king
Relate the great blessings this Christ Child would bring?
Eternal the joy of our Father's great plan
To offer His own son, the Savior of man.
How grateful we feel as we look at the year,
And ponder the blessings amidst Christmas cheer.
As the lights glow with beauty so bright in the snow,
we will always remember the birth long ago.
