GOD SO LOVED is an original setting of John 3:16 for SATB adult or youth choir.  It features a lovely ascending melody with a descending bass line facilitating the harmonic structure.  The soprano solo is very accessible with homophonic and gentle contrapuntal interplay in the choir parts.  An optional flute part adds just the right touch, making this a piece that you will return to time and again.  It is medium-easy and appropriate for any time of year, but especially Easter or Advent.  "God So Loved" is also available as a solo in high, medium, and low keys with the optional flute part and piano accompaniment.  As an added bonus, the flute part can be played on a violin.  Duration 3:10.
