This beutiful melody is arranged for String Orchestra and Solo Trumpet doubling on Piccolo Trumpet. I have tried to reflect the cold Christmas feeling in the strings and also to imitate the Norwegian folk instrument the Langeleik which is a droned Zither instrument.
