Bob Dylan, a 2016 Nobel prize for literature recipient, famously ignored it for a while. In that spirit, he is now and has been a major figure in the music world for decades. The song "Blowin in the Wind" was released in 1963 and if I may include something personal, his song had a positive impact on my world view as a young person at the time. For this setting for sax quartet (SATB), I chose to use an Afro Pop style. The bari sax part in particular is quite active! It is set for soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes with an alternate alto part in place of the soprano sax. - John Gibson, arranger.
