Composed by Christina Rossetti (words) and Tom Rodgers (music). Christmas,Contemporary,Sacred. 9 pages. Tom Rodgers #2852557. Published by Tom Rodgers (A0.942563).

"In The Bleak Midwinter" is a traditional carol. The words are those by Christina Rosetti but the music has been newly conceived in this Christmas carol for mixed singers and piano. Each verse is treated differently, as inspired by the Harold Darke choral version, with solo verses for Soprano and Tenor voices and the remaining verses for an intermediate SATB ensemble. If you fancy singing something familiar at Christmas but in a different way then this is the piece for you! The audio recording is a clip of the third verse, taken from the "United Singers" advent recital, performed in Upminster, Essex, England, in December 2015.
