In remembering those who have passed away, this anthem reminds us that"they are at peace." Using two choirs, the first choir sings a moving text found on the gravestone of Mark Twain's daughter, which instructs nature to show kindness and gentleness to the one who has passed. The second choir sings the angelic message that"the souls of the righteous are in the hands of God" from the Wisdom of Solomon 3.
