The introduction and ending with forte volume in a high range is based on motives from the original song. A short interlude after the first section in D major leads to a soft variation of the melody in E major using a higher range and mostly eighth notes. The melody in the final F major section is varied with forte volume using a range of five octaves that includes octaves, full chords and arpeggios in both hands.
