Gloria Willingham is an iconic figure in the Nazarene denomination; her mother was Grace Ramquist and her grandfather was J. B. Chapman. Oh, and her husband, Elbert, is the son of T. W. Willingham. Gloria was a schoolteacher before retirement; she raised two daughters; and she is a lifelong advocate for world missions. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her laugh is inspiring...especially considering her long battle with rheumatoid arthritis. What an honor it was to collaborate with Gloria on several songs while serving together at Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene back in the day: she, the missionary president, and I, a music staff member.
You are looking at one of her theme songs, a snappy little chorus with a Latin beat. It could be useful for services emphasizing missions or, more generally, consecration.
