Composed by English Folk Tune and words by William Chatterton Dix. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder. Christian,Christmas,Concert,Standards. Score. 3 pages. Amy J. Snyder #3135061. Published by Amy J. Snyder (A0.733544).

What Child Is This is one of the best-loved Christmas carols of all time. The tune is an old English folk song, Greensleeves, while the words were added in 1865 by William Chatterton Dix. This piano arrangement is in early intermediate level and has a simple, clean sound with a single melody line that gradually adds a 3rd or 6th to harmonize. The L.H. is a simple 1-5-8 pattern. Lots of helpful fingering is added. Great song for church prelude, ffertory or special music, Christmas recitals, Christmas parties or assisted living entertainment. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder; copyright on this arrangement 2012 by Amy J. Snyder.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
