Carl Maria Von Weber wrote his Clarinet Concerto No.1 in 1811.The first movement was very innovative for its time, with some stylistic aspects characteristic of later composers like Felix Mendelssohn. He also wrote his Concertino for Clarinet and his Clarinet Concerto No.2 in the same year. This arrangement makes it available for soloist and concert band.
