The melody is heard three times, starting on a Reed 8' stop, and increasing in volume each time with the addition of 4' and 2' stops. This piece would be the perfect organ prelude for Thanksgiving Day, or for any Mass in Ordinary Time, especially one that begins with a hymn set to Kremser.
