So many songs!
This collection is an awesome buy for any flute player who gigs for the public. You can find plenty of traditional carols with CD accomp., but this is true gem because there are so many secular songs that are harder to find. The accomp. is fantastic. Yes, the flute line is all melody, but it is so easy to dress up' the melodic line. Having said all that, I had somewhat of a problem with the tech of an MP3 CD only because of the MP3 part, which I've never had to deal with before. But, all is well and having about 1 hour and 45 minutes of play-time with this collection was all worth the slight inconvenience of not dealing with a regular CD. I'm sure any techies out there would have no problem! Love it, love it, love it!!

sadly the play along disc is a dvd. for me that means it's not useable. It only plays on a computer, not the boom box I always use. they should offer this as a cd if it's going to be a play along.

Ultimate Christmas Instrumental Solos
The accompaniments are marvelous! The flute part rarely leaves the melody line so it's not very exciting to play. The fact that they're all familiar songs makes it even simpler to play. Nice group of selections. Great for having fun entertaining at Christmastime.
