Das Trio in einer zeitgenössischen Bearbeitung ist unvergleichbar in der Komposition. Ursprünglich war es für zwei Oboen und Englischhorn geschrieben, hier ist es für Flöte nach D-Dur versetzt und als op. 29 in London erschienen (ca. 1825). Es ist wahrscheinlich, dass diese Bearbeitung von dem Originalverleger Monzani, der auch ein bekannter Flötist war, vorgenommen wurde.
