Poems by American poet Margaret Widdemer (who shared one of the earliest Pulitzer Prizes with Carl Sandburg) discuss women's rights as well as the treatment of children in America under male political leadership, and form the basis of Juliana Hall's first work on the themes of social justice and women's rights.
