This day is so important that composers continually pour out new settings and interpretations of its psalm of the day. This one rocks! It has the feel of classic rock with driving eighth notes and repeated syncopation in the accompaniment. The refrain is scored for SATB voices in major, with verses for solo in minor on the same tonic. The final two refrains each modulate a step higher creating musical exuberance and joy. Instrument parts are optional.
