A Wonderful Piece

I first came across this piece over at Finalemusic.com where the score was originally posted in the music showcase. Once I saw just how great the piece was, I recommended it to my high school director, and he looked at it, and approved of us playing this piece. It was a challenge indeed for the high school students, and in the end everyone pulled through together.This piece is great for high school and even college level. A community band would even enjoy playing this piece. It's well-written, powerful, and shows the work and potential of the composer. This piece can inspire someone else to even go into composing/arranging. It has for me, and I'm sure it will for someone else too. You will not be disappointed when you buy this great piece of music from a potential young composer.

The War of Fantasia

I have been a director of bands for over 7 years and I found The War of Fantasia to be a great teaching tool and fun for everyone to play. It is a good challenge for high school bands. Mr. Dennis has the work notated exactly how he would like it performed and was even available for help when I was preparing for a concert. Fantasia has many moods that will keep you interested, several meter changes and dynamics add to the challenge. Mr. Dennis has GREAT potential as a serious composer of music, and this work displays his talent. I HIGHLY recommend this work. Your students will enjoy learning and performing it almost as your audience will appreciate the musical journey you are taking them on. BRAVO Mr. Dennis!!
