I think the actual music is exactly what was described--slowly adding in new notes at a steady level. However, I was disappointed with the attitudes that were expressed in the lyrics over and over again! The music kids play influences them and we should be using this to encourage good attitudes towards parents and life in general. So for this reason alone, I won't be looking to use this with my students on a regular basis.

This music book is easy to read and is one of the books that our music teacher seems to like to teach from. I believe that my child is getting the knowledge she needs from this book.
