From the languid Arctic Ocean, the journey takes us through the spirited North and South Atlantic Oceans to the furious Southern Ocean, then through the exotic Indian Ocean to the expansive South Pacific, and finally via the ebullient North Pacific Ocean back to the Arctic. Running about 21 minutes in length, this would be a great showcase piece for a string quartet concert or recital.
