Commissioned for the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the United States Naval Academy Band, Cdr. Donald Keller, Conductor, this is a thoughtful and dramatic setting of the beloved hymn, Eternal Father Strong to Save, set to the hymn tune Melita. The work hints at Taps and Anchors Aweigh and includes optional parts for organ and unison chorus.
