To see and hear full score press the “watch” button.The Entertainer was originally written by Scott Joplin in 1902 as a ‘ Piano Rag’ with the subtitle ‘A Rag Time Two Step’ – a popular dance at the time. Over the years, it has been performed in a number of different musical genres and contexts. It gained in popularity when it was adapted by Marvin Hamlisch in 1973 as the theme for the film ‘The Sting’.PERFORMANCE NOTES:1. This arrangement does not include all the original repeats.
